Julie M. Benz (born May 1, 1972) was an American actress best recognized for her character Rita Bennett on Dexter for which she won the award in 2006. Satellite Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role on the form of a Series Mini-Series as well as a Motion Picture Made for Television. She appeared in the TV series No Ordinary Family from its debut until May 13th 2011. Darla, who was from Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Angel was among her popular roles in the past.
